I asked the store owner which author was his best selling. He handed me a Louise Penny book. He said all his American neighbors were eager to read this Canadian author.Judith Yates Borgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05989317858819225597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4954486699810607306.post-288641944845495822011-08-22T20:30:14.713-07:002011-08-22T20:30:14.713-07:00I felt like I was late to the Louise Penny party; ...I felt like I was late to the Louise Penny party; I think I read the first book about 3 years ago (it was released in 2005) after hearing people rave about it on DorothyL. It didn't take me long to devour all the books that had been published thus far, and I've tried to read the following ones as soon as they're released (or earlier!)

LJ, the cool thing about this series is that though they take place in a small town and have all the elements of a cozy, they also have all the elements of a police procedural AND a lot of psychological mystery elements as well.

Thanks, all!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12487464497446199247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4954486699810607306.post-56868927006388958792011-08-22T18:54:47.515-07:002011-08-22T18:54:47.515-07:00I love books about odd little towns with odd littl...I love books about odd little towns with odd little characters.
